Volunteering at the Water Festival
The Niagara Children’s Water Festival would not be the success it is without our dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate volunteers. If you are looking to share your time and talents please take a moment to fill out our Volunteer Registration Form. Volunteer opportunities are available for both our public day and school program:

Volunteer Registration
Assist in the morning and afternoon checking in our Lead Coordinators, and assist with the high school students.

Food Services
Assist with the preparation of coffee, snacks each morning, and help serve lunch to our volunteers each day.

Training
Provide guidance and training when needed for our Lead Coordinators and highschool students.

Lead Coordinator
The Lead Coordinator is responsible for setting up the activity centre each day where they will present a message with a prepared script. They will have at least one highschool student who will assist at their centre.

Maintenance
Be a part of our “Go to Guys” team. Our Go to Guys are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the festival ‘behind the scenes’.

Bus Transportation
Each morning and afternoon you will be responsible in helping to ensure the safe arrival and departure of our students.

Parking
On our Public Day, you will assist in
helping to ensure that our visitors enter, park, and depart safely from our parking lots. -
Information
You will provide our visitors and students
with information about locations of different events/ activity centres and other information regarding the festival. -
Crossing Guard (School Program Only)
The crossing guard is responsible for ensuring the safety of students as they cross 6th Avenue, between the Conservation side of Ball’s Falls and the Historical side.
